Terms of Service

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using CVStride, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CVStride provides tools for creating and exporting CVs, drafting cover letters, tailoring application materials, organizing job applications, preparing for interviews, and generating AI-assisted content and professional headshots.

Features may change as the Service develops. CVStride is a productivity tool, not a recruiter, employment agency, legal adviser, or guarantee of employment, interviews, hiring outcomes, or applicant-tracking-system performance.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. If you use CVStride for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
• You may not sell, share, or transfer your account without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the CV details, text, photos, job descriptions, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You grant CVStride a limited, worldwide license to host, reproduce, process, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and provide features you request.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to submit User Content. Do not upload another person’s photo, confidential employer material, or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.

AI features may produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable output. You are responsible for reviewing and editing every result before using or submitting it. Do not rely on AI output as professional, legal, immigration, financial, or employment advice.

AI output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar results. You must not use generated headshots or text to impersonate, mislead, defraud, or violate another person’s rights.

You may not use CVStride to create, upload, transform, request, or distribute NSFW, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually exploitative content. This prohibition includes explicit nudity, content intended for sexual gratification, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, and any sexualized content involving or appearing to involve a minor.

You also may not misuse the Service, interfere with its security or availability, reverse engineer protected portions, automate abusive requests, introduce malicious code, violate applicable law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, generate deceptive identity content, harass or exploit another person, or use the Service to discriminate in employment decisions.

We may block generation requests, remove prohibited material, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and report activity to appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.

CVStride may offer free access with limits and a paid Pro Annual Pass. The price, billing period, included features, taxes, and renewal terms shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Paid transactions are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, and may be subject to Creem’s checkout terms.

If the checkout states that a subscription renews automatically, it will renew at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally end access before the paid period expires. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights.

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase for authentication and data infrastructure, Google for Google sign-in and Gemini-powered AI features, and Creem for paid transactions. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. CVStride is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

We aim to keep CVStride available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or guaranteed results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVStride will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost data, or lost profits. Our aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid to CVStride during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms when the Service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by another reasonable method. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service operator is established, while preserving any mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence.
